Supporting Caregivers

Health care providers are in a unique position to support caregivers. In many cases the health care community is the first place that a caregiver begins to solicit information pertaining to their caregiving situation. WVCaregivers.org has been developed with this thought in mind and a number of documents are available to West Virginia health care providers to help them support caregivers that come to them seeking help and information.

  • Brochures
  • Posters
  • Documents to assist in preparation of living wills and advance directives
  • Family Conversations - A booklet that contains useful guidelines to assist individuals with the task of discussing future health care decisions with their family members.

Additional copies of these resources are available to the West Virginia health care community. To request information, please contact us.
